The Acer Iconia Tab 8 A1-840 was released by Acer just six months after the earlier model, the Acer Iconia Tab 8 A1-830. This device can be distinguished by its smaller, sleeker, and lighter design and its brighter and clearer display. In addition, the Iconia Tab A1-840 runs on the Android 4.4 operating system, while the A1-830 runs on Android 4.2.
Identification
The Acer Iconia Tab 8 A1-840 tablet can be identified by the SNID or Serial number on the white label located on the bottom of the device.
