Background

The Google Pixel Buds A‑Series was released in June 2021 as the budget alternative to the Pixel Buds Pro (similar to how the "a‑series" Pixel phones are budget alternatives). They keep a similar form factor and sound quality while removing some of the higher-end features of the Pixel Buds Pro, e.g., wireless charging, transparency mode, and active noise cancellation with Silent Seal™.

The Google Pixel Buds A‑Series starts at $99 USD.

Identification

The Google Pixel Buds A‑Series can be identified primarily by its model number, GA02213, which is on the original packaging. If you can't find your original packaging, you can identify it by the signature white, egg‑shaped charging case that it shares with the Pixel Buds Pro. The A-Series buds themselves don't have the wire mesh of the Buds Pro (next to the "G" logo) and instead are completely smooth.

The Pixel Buds A‑Series comes in four colors: Sea, Dark Olive, Clearly White, and Charcoal.
