Introduction
This guide demonstrates how to replace the spark plugs in a 2002 GMC Sierra. Spark plugs need to be replaced every few years. We advise to remove and replace the spark plugs one at a time.
When re-installing the new spark plugs, do not over-tighten them! Also, make sure that your truck has cooled under the hood if the vehicle was recently turned off.
Before starting, make sure your truck is off and in park. Securely prop the hood up to ensure safety during the repair. Lastly, disconnect the car battery.
