Flip the laptop over so the bottom is on top, then use a Phillips-head scredriver (cross-head) to remove the TEN (10) screws: four at front edge, three across middle and three across back (nearest the screen hinge).

Once all ten screws are removed, start releasing the cover from the side with the IO ports (right side). Push a guitar pick, credit card or spudger in between the bottom case and the main body of the laptop.

After releasing the tabs on the IO ports (right) side, do the tabs at the front, then the tabs on the left side, and, finally, the tabs across the back, nearest the screen hinges.

Assuming all the screws have been removed and all the tabs are released, you should now be able to lift the cover away from the laptop.

To reassemble your device, place the bottom cover against the laptop and squeeze the edges back together until you hear a click. You may have to push fairly hard to get the clips to snap back together. Afterwards, replace the ten screws. Don't tighten the screws down very hard or you may break the plastic case! Just screw them in until they stop turning, then turn another 1/4 turn or so.
