Introduction
Welcome to the Dewalt Hammer Drill DW511 brush spring replacement guide. The brush springs are an important component that hold the brushes in place so the brushes are not loose. Having strong springs is important because once springs go loose and the brushes do not work properly, the drill will overheat.
Caution: the springs are made of a small thin metal that is easy to break and easy to lose.
