Introduction

In this guide, a user will be able to safely access/replace the Hard Disk Drive (HDD) in their Dell XPS M140 laptop. This could resolve any issues related to the HDD. Along with other issues, the HDD can cause repeated system crashes or reboots.

    • Open the slide lock and pull out the battery.

    • The screws won’t come out fully. Once you feel like the door is loose enough, it should come right off.
