Introduction
Use this guide to remove or replace the profile from within the return system assembly in a Dewalt DCN21PL 2018 Nailer.

Use the provided 3.5 mm hex key to remove the two return system bolts on either side of the nailer.

Use your thumbs to pull the spring bumpers just far enough away from the rail clips so they aren't touching.

Use a large flathead screwdriver to slide the rail clip off of the tip of the rail.

Remove the rail clip.

Firmly grasp the spring bumper. Pull up while twisting to remove it from the rail.

Remove the spring bumper and accompanying washer.

Repeat Steps 4-6 for the other rail.

With the rails clear, the profile can now slide off. Pull the profile off the rails to remove.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
