Introduction
If the high-low switch no longer works either the switch or PCB needs replacing.
If the motor powers up for a second when turns off and then dies it can also be a problem with the PCB.
The PCBs for Henrys can be expensive and hard to source but it can be easily bypassed. This will remove the high-low function but it will still work.

Remove the 2 wires from the on-off switch which connected to the rest of the vacuum cleaner.

Connect the 2 white wires from the motor to the green on-off switch.

Place the red high-low switch back in to its holder in the casing to fill the gap and prevent potential shocks.

Optionally, an indicator LED can be purchased online to fill the gap.
