If your Hitachi CP-X2011N projector's lightbulb isn't working, use this guide to replace the bulb.

The lightbulb is the most important part of a projector, it is source of light that allows the picture to be projected. Since the lightbulb is the most used and most important part, it is very easy to access and replace it. If your projector is not projecting a picture, the most common and likely reason for this is because the lightbulb has just gone out and is just in need of a replacement.

Before beginning, ensure that you have fully powered down the projector and leave it unplugged for the whole repair.

    • Unscrew the single captive screw that secures the lamp cover.

    • The screw will not come off the lid completely.

    • Slide the lid away from the body of the projector until it stops. Then, lift the lid upwards to remove it.

    • Unscrew the three captive silver screws on the top of the lamp housing.

    • These screws should not be removed from the housing.

    • Pull the lamp up and out.

    • This may take some gentle force.
