Introduction

If your humidifier has stopped absorbing water, you might need to replace the old wick from the humidifier with a new one. For this guide, you do not need any tools but you do need a replacement wick to place inside the lid.

    • Unscrew the top half of the device from the container and place the lid upside down.

    • The container should unscrew counter clockwise

    • Pull the wick holder out from the bottom of the lid.

    • Grasp onto the plastic wick holder and pull upwards until it pops free.

    • Remove the old wick from the wick holder.

    • Tilt the wick holder to the side and gently slide the wick out of its container.

    • Place new wick into the wick holder.

    • Grab a replacement wick from the box the humidifier came in and gently slide it into the wick holder.

    • Insert wick holder back into the lid.

    • Grab the wick holder and insert it into the lid on the end where the wick itself enters the lid and the spring side remains in the air.

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, screw the lid back onto the container and turn it on.
