Introduction

Use this guide to replace the dirty water tank shut off float in your Hoover Power Path Deluxe FH50951 vacuum. When the dirty water tank is not full but air flow is being blocked or if your dirty water tank is full and the air flow is not being blocked then you may need to replace the shut off float in the dirty water tank.

    • Remove the dirty water tank from the vacuum.

    • Flip up the two red latches on the sides of the tank.

    • Remove the upper part of the tank.

    • Remove the three 12.6 mm screws from the shut off float using a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

    • Remove the shut off float from the lid of the tank.
