Introduction

If your COMFORTMATE FJYPD16H2 fan blade case is wobbling or moves when you pick the fan up, use this guide to repair it.

The blade case is the part around the fan blade and is there to protect you from the fast spinning blade.

Be careful of any broken parts as the edges of the plastic are sharp enough to cut skin.

You will need a piece of cloth or a paper towel to protect you when handling the fan blade in steps 4 and 10; safety gloves will also work.

Pull the locking mechanism back and turn the front of the fan case counter clockwise and pull it off.

While holding the fan blade in place using a piece of cloth or a paper towel, remove the spinner by turning it clockwise.
The blades are sharp and can cause cuts.

Remove the plastic nut on the back of the fan case by turning it counter clockwise and check for damage.

Make sure the holes on the back of the blade case are lined up with the protruding parts on the motorhead and is as far back as possible.

While holding the blade case in place attach the plastic nut by turning it clockwise.

While holding the fan blade in place using a piece of cloth or a paper towel, attach the spinner by turning it counter clockwise.
