Introduction
If your JBL Flip 6 speaker is producing distorted or muffled high-frequency sounds, or if the treble is missing entirely, the issue may be with the tweeter. The tweeter is responsible for delivering the higher-pitched sounds in the audio range, and a damaged tweeter can significantly affect the overall sound quality of your speaker.
Before starting this replacement guide, inspect the tweeter for any visible damage, such as cracks, tears in the diaphragm, or signs of wear. You can also gently press on the tweeter to check for any unusual resistance or rattling, which could indicate internal damage. If the tweeter is indeed faulty, replacing it will restore the high-end clarity and overall sound performance.
