Introduction
The center pulley in the head also contains bearings that might need replacing. This guide will show you how to replace these bearings.

Loosen tension set screws (on both sides) and make sure tension pulling handle is pushed left.

Remove the v-band from the pulley.

Pull the center pulley towards the front, adding slack to the other v-band, and pull the pulley assembly up from the head.

Remove the internal retaining ring with the snap ring pliers.

Remove the external retaining ring with the snap ring pliers.

Press out the axle with the pulley puller.

Using the bearing removal tool, pull out the first bearing.

Optionally, you can use a socket to tap out the second bearing. Make sure to use a socket that fits the outer ring of the bearing.

Pull out the second bearing with the bearing removal tool.

Insert the spacer onto the first bearing.

Press in the second bearing until it touches the spacer.

Place the spacer.

Let the spacer push on something, a large socket for instance, and center it on the press.

Press in the axle until the retaining ring groove is above the bearing (and the retaining ring can be put back).

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
