Introduction

If your NEFF dishwasher shows a flashing ECO light and won't start, try this.

A quick search online suggests the flood switch has been activated, and resetting this requires removing the dishwasher and tilting it to drain the water. If you have an integrated dishwasher, this is not feasible.

In some cases, the flashing ECO light is simply caused by excess water in the waste water pump. In this case, it is enough to soak up the excess water using a sponge.

    • Ensure the applicance is off before continuing.

    • Unscrew the filter cylinder.

    • Make sure to clean the filter cylinder before placing it back.

    • Make sure to wear gloves in case of broken glass.

    • Using a sponge, soak up any water in the waste water pump.

    • Repeat until the waste water pump is dry.

    • Remove the white pump cover (using a spoon can help here).

    • Ensure the impeller spins freely.

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
