Nokia 6590i Speaker Replacement

Before taking apart your Nokia 6590i, you will need to purchase a new battery. You can find them at Amazon, Walmart, or any cell phone repair store.

For reference, pictured here is a photo of a new battery for the Nokia 6590i.

Most new batteries will have a price range of $10 to $30.

After purchasing a new battery, we can begin the replacement.

First, press the button on the bottom of the rear cover.

Second, keep the button pressed while pulling the cover downward to remove the back cover.

Third, lift the cover off.

Then, to remove the old battery, push it down from the top and pull it out.

To install the new battery, just follow this guide in reverse order!

Grip the front cover from the bottom.

Lift the front cover off.

Remove the six screws using a T6 torx screwdriver.

Insert spudger along edge of assembly and gently lift assembly away from case

Remove assembly from phone

Flip assembly over

Locate speaker on the back of the assembly.

Insert spudger under upper left side of speaker and gently lift to remove

Remove speaker.
