Introduction

Use this guide to replace a used, nonfunctional, or a reduced capacity battery in a Pine64 PinePhone. Batteries naturally degrade over time, so use this guide after a few years of strenuous use to give an older phone new life.

Before beginning, make sure to power off the phone and disconnect from any external power source.

Use caution. If the battery emits an odor, liquid, or is swollen, this repair may be dangerous.

I have all ready done this and my Pinephone doesn't work. It seems that I wasted a lot of money on a piece of junk and it's best for me not to buy another Pine64 product and convince as many people as possible not to do business with Pine64.
