Introduction

If the headphones will not accept a charge from the micro usb cable, the charging port may need to be replaced and the volume dial is soldered onto the circuit board. This process is moderately difficult and may take up to three minutes. The only tool necessary will be the #000 Philips screwdriver.

where do I get the replacement module?

Jan G -

Have you found one yet? I've needed to do this repair for a while.

I was also trying to find the replacement module https://spares.sennheiser-hearing.com/ca..., but a Sennheiser agent told me that they're no longer available.

Guess I have a nice pair of wired headphones now.

You are not alone! My headphones just came from the repair shop. I needed to change the sponges and, what I thought, change a faulty battery. Had already bought the spare parts. Everything worked fine for 3 days (while the new battery was full) and then I could not charge it anymore. went back to the shop, they opened the headphones but cannot get a charge signal in the battery, which means that there is no current passing to the battery. I bought an adapter to connect my "nice pair of wired headphones" to my phone.
