Introduction
This guide will take you through the repair process of Weinmann 605 brakes. This set of brakes is quite old, and existing documentation covering repairs may be hard to locate, hence the need for comprehensive online information.
In this repair, we adjust the brake caliper and tighten the brake cable to reestablish brake pad contact with the rim. This process is straightforward and is easily accomplished with minimal experience and tools. Optionally, WD40 can be used throughout this procedure to reduce grease buildup.

Pull the brake lever, then aim the nameplate and support for cable adjuster to the mount hole on the inner brake arm.

Tighten the lock nut for cable adjuster.

Cover the lock nut for the cable adjuster with the quick release cap.
