Introduction

Is the Backplate of your Yuneec ST16s damaged or broken and needs to be replaced? Use this guide to help you replace it.

This device is an all-inclusive transmitter and receiver that gives you full control over a H520 Hexacopter during flight. It allows users to capture photos and videos with great ease.

Backplates (if damaged) can pose a great risk of increasing overall damage to your device if left unreplaced.

Before starting, make sure the device is powered completely off.

Tools

Step 1

Remove the single screw from the battery compartment.

Step 2

Remove the rubber bumpers from the back of the device using a spudger.

Step 3

Remove the two screws located under each of the rubber bumpers.

Step 4

Remove the three screws along the top of the device.

Step 5

Carefully remove the backplate from the device.

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
