Introduction

If you are having problems with the velcro on your ZCWA BR151 vacuum, use this guide to replace it. The velcro is easily accessible as it is merely on the underside of the attachment and on the device itself, so there is no need to remove any additional parts to access it. You will not need to do any difficult steps, but step 5 gives you the option to use a hot glue gun. If you use a hot glue gun, then make sure to use it carefully to prevent burns.

    • Turn off the device.

    • Flip the device over to access the bottom panel.

    • Remove the cloth mop covering by lifting it from the velcro on the plastic mop attachment.

    • Remove the plastic mop attachment by placing your fingers underneath and prying it up.

    • Use a Jimmy to get underneath the velcro until you are able to push it up enough to grab.

    • Use tweezers to peel off the rest of the velcro.

    • If necessary, use the spudger to remove more of the adhesive beneath the velcro.

    • You will need four velcro strips. Cut out two, 1-inch long strips of velcro.

    • Cut an additional two, 3-inch long strips.

    • If your velcro strips already have an adhesive back, simply attach them to the top of the mop bracket.

    • If you are using a hot glue gun to attach your velcro, place a small section of glue where you want the velcro to go, then carefully press your piece down.
