Introduction

I would like to share you how to replace the battery of the iPhone X.

To replace the battery of the iPhone X, you need to prepare a screwdriver, a suction cup, an iOpener, a pair of tweezer, plastic pry tool and a spudger.

Remember to remove all the peripherals like AC adapter or battery.

The replacement will cause the loss of water resistance.

To replace the battery for this iPhone X, do the following steps:

    • Firstly, turn off your phone & use a special screwdriver to move 2 screws on the base.

    • Secondly, you must use the iOpener to soften the adhesive .

    • Next, clip the suction cup onto the screen

    • And lift up the screen 90 degree /by your hand

    • Then, you must remove 2 screws by screwdriver

    • And use a tweezers to lift up the metal bracket.

    • Note to avoid damaging ribbon cable between screen and base

    • Next step, Use the spudger to pry away the battery connector & 3 display connectors

    • Before pull the battery stripe by the tweezers.

    • After that, lift out the old battery/ by your hand

    • Finally, to install a new one, follow reverse steps.

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
