First step is to locate and remove these 4 screws that hold the cover plate on.

Find the cap on the top of the reel and turn is counterclockwise to remove it.

Here is the the main shaft cover just lift straight up to remove it.

Now the next step is to take the handle off and you hold the top of your line and twist the handle counterclockwise till its off.

Next remove the side cap from the cover plate after taking the reel handle off.

Once you have removed the cover plate this is what you should see.

Now that the plate is off you can remove the drive gear by lifting it up out of place.

Now that you have the drive gear out next you will remove the main shaft by pulling it straight out as well.

Next you will turn the reel straight up and remove the pick up housing nut with a 11mm socket.

Now that the nut is removed you can remove the pick up housing.

Under the pick up housing you need to remove the 2 retainer screws.

After that you can take the ball race retainer out and that allows you to remove the pinion gear.

This is the pinion gear and you remove it being taking it out from the top.

And this is all the parts you should have successfully removed.
