My name is Anamika Menon and I am a sophomore at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
I am extremely passionate about cars, motorsports, and sustainable energy, and want to work towards developing technology that can improve the efficiency of combustion and electrical propulsion systems and reduce energy wastage. In the meantime, I am trying to integrate the knowledge that I am gaining from my Mechanical Engineering education into my personal projects so I can make fun and sustainable custom solutions for my tech needs.
Most of the tech I've used in my life were either hand-me-downs or they broke down constantly which meant that I had to teach myself to repair them just to make them work. Therefore I have lots of experience repairing laptops, computers, monitors, mobile phones, keyboards, controllers and anything else I've managed to get my hands on.
Currently I have multiple projects I am working on, including building a small form factor computer, designing a custom mechanical keyboard, and maybe integrating that design into a portable cyber-deck.
