Ethan Bates

Hello! My name is Ethan Bates, and I am a student at the University of North Texas. I am majoring in computer science and hope to work in game development in the future.

I do not have a lot of experience fixing real life things like phones or printers, but I would love to learn more about repairs in general. Since I'm majoring in computer science, I have had plenty of moments where I have to figure out a solution to fix a coding problem, so I definitely know how hard it can be.

This project relates to me because it will help me learn about mechanical repairs, and how to write instructions that will be clear and helpful to my peers.

One of my biggest interests is listening to music and there are many different artists I like, such as Kamaara, Istasha, and Kill Ebola. They all make some pretty unique sounding music, mainly genres like rap, hip-hop, or trap metal, and I love it. I also enjoy playing competitive games in my free time such as 'Rocket League', where you basically play soccer, but you are driving a car the whole time.

One cool hobby I like to enjoy is birdwatching, however the weather here is not that good all the time, so I don't do it very frequently, but I really hope to see a Painted Bunting in real life one day, which I included a picture of to the side.
