Hello! My name is Miguel Aguirre
I attend Cal State Los Angeles University, Los Angeles, California where I am studying Computer Science as my major.
In the future, I either want to become a software engineer or work a part of cyber security. With the knowledge I've gained and the knowledge I am continuing to achieve, I want to make a difference in our world by making software more accessible but also more secure for everyone. Software and technological breaches happen every day and can cause major problems for individuals who are unfortunate enough to be victims of these crimes which is why I want to make a difference and help others with my major.

I have practical experience when it comes to computer science. I have done multiple projects throughout highschool to college as a CS major. One of the projects I have accomplished either by myself or with a group is coding a Poker game with Python. Coding a snake game with Java. More recently I am currently coding a turn-based rpg game for my 2011 CS class. This game will only be a small demo but I most definitely will be adding to it as time goes by as coding games is a great hobby of mine. I am able to learn things very quickly which is a special skill of mine and learning new things is always something I strive to go for. Other hobbies I have are skateboarding, Video games, Drawing, binge-watching movies, and playing guitar. I also love animals, my favorite animal being cats. I don't own any cats myself but I have cats that stay outside where I live and I do my best to feed them and take care of them whenever possible.

The experience with this project will help me by being able to understand how technology works and see the advancements we made over the course of years. With this knowledge, I can see what I can do myself to help make these new advancements and be a part of the group that pushes technology to new limits. Being able to understand what I am going to be working on is important when coding, being a solid structure and background beforehand. I hope to make a valuable asset when it comes to the iFixit community and share my guides around the world to help people as much as possible.
