My name is Amina Begum. I am an international student from Bangladesh and a graduate student at Tennessee Technological University, pursuing my master's degree in English with a concentration in Professional and Technical Communication.
I have always been fascinated by foreign languages; English- being one of them. While my mother tongue is Bangla (Bengali), my fascination with English began as a child watching English cartoons, movies, comedy shows, animations, etc. Though at that time, I could not grasp the language properly, it did not make me feel intimidated at all, rather these comprehension difficulties only fueled my desire to pursue the language relentlessly. I intend to make the best use of the remaining time here at TTU to learn, develop myself, and create a gateway for my future career path.
