Hello! My name is Dominic Chan. I am an Environmental Engineering Major and Soil Science Minor intended to graduate in Spring 2025 at University of California, Davis.
Growing up in the drought years in California, the idea of transportation of water and water conservation hit home at a young age. This was only accelerated in my senior year of high school where I took a course on the history and current state of California water. I found an affinity with the importance of understanding water use and wanted to continue exploring these topics in college.
I pursue a degree in Environmental Engineering to further my skills as a problem solver and challenge myself to think creatively to apply the knowledge and importance of water I have begun to learn. I hope that my time on iFixit may continue my growth in repairs and that my work may help others in the problems which they face in their day-to-day lives.
