My name is Grace Grubbs. I am a junior at Tennessee Technological University with a double major in sociology and English.

My interest in writing stemmed from a childhood interest in storytelling. I loved to hear stories from family members who traveled to other countries, absorbing all the details of their tales. It wasn't long until I picked up any writing implement near me, from crayons to pens, and wrote my own stories. When my siblings and I played games as a child, I was the director and creator of each story, writing it as we played. My college degree was going to do something with stories, which put me on the English path.

In my first semester of college, I took a course in sociology. The professor made it fun and engaging with his funny stories and jokes. During the class, I kept thinking that sociology was my major.
