About Me
Hello! My name is Carter Eason. I'm a freshman at the University of North Texas majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. I chose this major because it seemed the most interesting, and a great field to go into to help people. I also chose it because I'm good at math and science. Unfortunately, I don't know if I want to keep going through with this major. I'm taking my core classes out of the way to see if I'm interested in anything else at the moment.
But when I pictured myself out of college, I pictured being in a successful career, helping people in need, whether it be research in a lab, or helping a person at a hospital. I want the work I do to have a purpose, that's why I found the engineering field so interesting.
I'm originally from Austin, TX, born and raised. But it's great living near Dallas since I am a Cowboys fan. Back home I have two dogs, two cats, and a fish. I have a Great Pyrenees, Pitbull mix, Orange tabby, Mancoon, and a Beta fish. I have three siblings, three brothers to be exact.
Experience
I do have experience in Adobe software, mostly Adobe Photoshop, Preview, and Indesign. But I'm a fast learner, so that shouldn't be a problem. The only fixing I'm good at is sewing, and I like building Legos. I also have experience in photography, to get into my middle school I had to get into the magnet program, so I majored in Media Animation. But I also did it in my free time whenever I would travel during the summer.
Interests and Hobbies
My hobbies include watching movies/TV shows, reading, traveling, watching live bands, and going to music festivals. I especially love any horror or thriller movies, I like the adrenaline rush. I love trying new foods, but my favorite would have to be any type of Asian food.
Two years ago, I went to Germany with my best friend for ten days. She and I were part of a travel club, and we got the chance of a lifetime. We got to eat a lot of native dishes, be a part of the culture, and see a lot of old architecture. It was just a surreal experience, everything was green there, you had to pay to go to the bathroom, and the people there were very different. But I'm glad I had the opportunity to go. I'm hoping if I can, maybe after college, I would like to live there.
