Hi everyone my name is Christopher Collins, but I prefer to go by Chris. I am a freshman at the University of North Texas with a major in computer science.
I have been playing games since I could walk. I first started playing on the PS3 with black ops 1. We also had a wii set up in the back room of the house that I would play on. When I first started to play games I loved the feeling that this virtual space brought to me as a kid. I could not get enough of the rush that I got playing online with others and having to learn new things on the fly.
I have a dream of becoming a the director of a soft wear engineering team. I have always wanted to code and create new things. In addition I want to maximise the efficiency of already existing systems and processes. This lead me to finding out about software engineering. There can be multiple different areas that you can approach to. I could be someone who creates the software,I can make it more efficient, or I could be the one to stress test/quality test it.
I personally haven’t fixed anything, but I helped fixed a drag race car engine. I would love to learn how to fix an original 1967 Cheney impala engine. This was and still is my dream car that I’m planing on finding and restoring to its former glory. I got this dream mainly from watching supernatural with my mom, but this car embodies what I want in a vehicle.
