My name is Roslyn Dobbins and I am an UNT student who is currently undecided in her major. I have yet to decide on my career goal, but I am interested in Technical Writing and I am hoping to explore it further through iFixit.

A little about me
To start I love reading, usually fantasy, horror, and science fiction. One of my all-time favorite books is still Prey by Michael Crichton although Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo is a close second. I of course also love movies (if you weren't sure). I have a particular fondness for scary movies but I'll watch just about anything. I don't even know if I could name a favorite movie, but two of my favorite are "Everything, Everywhere, All at Once" and Jordan Peele's "Nope".
Another thing about me is I love cats. The picture I included is of two of my cats Loki (left) and Cleo (right). My profile picture is actually an image of my friend's cat who is named Bender (yes, after the Futurama character).

Relevant skills
Although I have little experience in Technical Writing, I was involved in journalism all throughout high school, working for both my school yearbooks and newspaper. I specialized in writing and photography and have won numerous TAJE and ATPI awards for my work. I am hoping I can apply some of those learned skills here on iFixit. Through my college work I have also become familiar with Excel.
