My name is Gabriella Vazquez, and I am a freshman student at the University of North Texas majoring in Mechanical Engineering Technology. I chose this major because back in high school I took Robotics Manufacturing and really enjoyed it which led me to want to continue learning and doing the same things I was doing, so while searching for a major I noticed that Mechanical Engineering Technology had and saw that it had most of the qualities that I was doing on robotics manufacturing. One of my aspirations is to become a successful engineer, I really see my passion for it, as it excited me to learn more about it and be able to get one step closer to my dream. Another thing I would like to be is a healthy person, for instance, going to the gym five or four days a week, eating good food that's not fast food, and having a healthy sleep schedule. Some of my hobbies are going to the gym, reading books, playing the viola, and learning to play the electric guitar.
