Hello, my name is Joseph Howerton. I am a student at California State University, Los Angeles majoring in in Computer Science. Immediately after graduating I want to go back into Android Engineering and then pursue a graduate degree in Machine Learning. Most of my notable skills are focused on Android development, such as building Android apps. I have two apps on the app store, and I am working on a 3rd app and a beginner's course for Android development. However, my interest has shifted into Unreal Engine and Game Development.

My repair experience is limited to mostly computer repairs. For example, my brother owned a MacBook with a broken screen, and I happened to have a MacBook with a damaged motherboard from spilling coffee on and leaving it there for months. So, I used my screen to fix his MacBook. Most of the repairs I have done are similar to this.

My hobbies mostly live in the software side of things. Initially, my primary hobby was building Android apps, however it has shifted into C game development with UE5. What excites me about both is the challenge associated with them. With Android, there are a lot of different components in the tech stack you have to learn in order to produce reliable and efficient apps. With UE5 there a ton of things you have to understand such as how to use C with UE5, C++ to Blueprints, Animation, Physics, Vectors, etc.
