Hello there, my name is Abanob Yohanna, I am currently studying a mechanical engineering degree in UC Davis. I am here to try to help clear up some easy and complicated repairs to you. Together we can fix what used to be working properly!
I grew up in Egypt, and you know what that means, of course, pyramids. Growing up helping my family with their small business to repair and maintenance of house appliances has inspired my curiosity with the mechanics and electronics of all types of machines. And that is what made me decide on mechanical engineering. I found that it mixes all other engineering disciplines together.
From this point forward I will introduce you to some of my expertise in the field. I am currently working in the civil engineer side of the United States Air Force, and that experience had taught me many skills of repairs and maintenance of bigger objects, like buildings and such. And doing my own projects at home trying to revive things that have broke got me skilled on the small objects, you know, like computers and such. so here is a snip of my resume:

Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning,
United States Air Force Active Reserve
- Installed Flight Simulator boiler, brazed copper pipes, replaced high limit switch, and saved $10K of contractor costs.
- Led multiple safety and training sessions for shop members, which led to the improvement and the productivity of the work order in a significant amount of time.
- Maintained, identified, and treated many problems, such as leaks, controls, sensors, and relays, on different systems, preventing the high cost of replacing old systems with new.
PROJECTS
- Steel Bridge Club: Designed & tested multiple designs of mini-steel bridges using Autocad and SAP2000 Programs.
- Roadable Aircraft Project: Led a group of four people and designed a roadable Aircraft using solidworks. Using sketches and drawings programs, we successfully brought the idea to life.
