Hello! My name is Deepa and I am currently a second-year at UC Davis. I am a Cognitive Science and Design double major with an interest in pursuing UI/UX design in the future. I am currently working on a short UI project hosted by Davis Design Interactive. I am new to fixit and repairing and a specific interest I have in this realm would be fixing makeup and jewelry. Making these fixit tutorials would help me with my passions because it would help me get good experience in online graphic layout projects. It would also help me to get experience creating tutorials and working through a step-by-step process. Both of these are important for the field I want to go into.
I also want to start doing more graphic design projects, which was a hobby I had in high school. I learned Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Animate in a graphic arts class I took, and now I am starting to learn Figma as well in my club. I hope to do more UI/UX projects using the experience from my current work. Some of my other hobbies include watching TV, reading, working out, and trying new food. My current comfort food is bagels and I love to try new bagel places. My favorite music artists are Lana Del Ray, Travis Scott, and Taylor Swift.
