Hi! My name is LiTong Liu. I am a freshman at UC Davis with a major in Design and Cognitive Science with an emphasis on computation.
In the future, I hope to get into the Tech Field and become a UI/UX Designer. I have also liked Tech, coding, and art so I thought UI/UX is a nice mix of that. I have experience in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, HTML/CSS, and Python. I have made multiple websites before and even won an award in my summer program, MissionBit, for the "Most Technical" website.
I like to play games and hang out with my friends in my free time. I also love little stress-relieving projects like diamond painting and legos! A fun fact about me is that my arm is double jointed so I can twist my hand/arm 360 degrees!
This is a project I did for my Design 001 class. This project aims to design something that helps with social justice, public health, or the environment. My group and I decided to do something with public health, emphasizing children's mental health. We designed a room that is meant to be implemented in schools. The room is filled with sensory and stress-relieving elements like nap beds, sensory boards, and coloring books. I would say our project was a huge success because, during the display event, a lot of students said that it was a good idea and they would definitely go there to relieve stress if there was a room like that in Davis.
This poster is a project I did for my Graphic Design class. The prompt was to create a poster for an event. I chose to create a poster for the Valorants Masters Tournament in Madrid. This is by far my proudest work because I did a lot of research and spent a lot of time on it. I feel like all the elements I put align with Valorants' brand and I learned a lot during the process. I also received great feedback from my professor and peers. Overall, really fun project!
