My name is Katy Lawlor an I am a Psychology (B.A.) & Design (B.A.) student at the University of California, Davis. I am studying psychology and design because of my interest in the intricacies of the human brain and how design choices may be relevant to such. I hope to grow into a career involving fashion design that is focused on psychological processes. I am skilled in drawing, multitasking, brainstorming, interpersonal relations, and more.
I have some repair experience due to my own breaking of items and my experience in a fast-pace environment in my workplace. I work at Sidecar Doughnuts & Coffee, a gourmet doughnut cafe, where sometimes I have to fix coffee-making mechanics, machinery supplies, carafes, and more. This year I won Top Doughnut Server due to my customer service skills and team-building skills.
I am a member of Alpha Phi Sorority at UC Davis and a contributor to the KDViations magazine. I enjoy creating art (pictured left), discovering new music, and spending time outdoors.
A fun fact about me is that I was born and raised in Ireland (pictured below) and am very proud of the country.
