My name is Raven Maynard, I'm a student at UNT and this is the first time I've used ifixit for a project. I'm a Biochemistry major with a minor in psychology and my plan is to eventually become a Forensic Scientist for animals working in the field. I've never repaired or looked at electronic devices so I'll be using this to both learn and eventually teach others.

My brain is all kinds of weird with a lot going on, without naming everything I have ADHD, autism, and RSD. I also have moderate-severe asthma so my body decided to work with my brain against me 👍. I tend to focus on a lot of the small intricate details about things which should actually come in handy for once with a project like this!

So my hyper-fixations change pretty much every month but a few that have going on for a long time and don't seem to be letting up any time soon are Epic: The Musical and Hazbin Hotel.

Special Interests are a term used in the autistic community to refer to any topic that you've spent many years focusing on and put a lot of energy into. For me that's space, school, and animals. I've worked with the SPCA in New York in some way from 8th grade to 12th grade and plan to eventually go work in their forensic department. I've spent a lot of time focusing on school to the point that at some points during highschool I was at school for more time than I was at home during the week. At the end of my highschool career I earned the Scholastic Achievement Award and the Buffalo Board of Education Exemplar Award.
