Hello! My name is Omar Flores. I am a sophomore at California State University Los Angeles(CSULA). The major I chose is Mechanical Engineering. I chose this major because of my love for creating things and contributing to something meaningful for my team. I'm hoping in the future I could have a career in the aerospace industry.
Project/Accomplishments
In my First Year at CSULA, I was a part of a team that needed to create a working ROV. During this experience, I learned so much. I learned how to solder, use Solidworks, and use Excel. The most important thing I learned was how to work in a team. Communication is vital when being in a team. Throughout the project, there were trials and errors, but we worked together to solve them.
Interests/Hobbies
One of my main interests is Nature. I really love the outdoors and exploring new places. I also love hiking or anything related to the great outdoors. One of my other hobbies is playing video games and going to the gym.
