Hello! My name is Jarrett Rousseau. I am a University of Massachusetts Dartmouth student majoring in mechanical engineering. I chose this major because I have always been interested in transportation and other vehicles. I have also always loved building with Lego and being creative. Some of my skills are teamwork, communication, and CADD. In high school, I had this CADD class where we had to design a cart to hold a battery pack and a motor. the motor was attached to a propeller. we also had to design it to include wheels and axles. this project was to create a propeller cart that could travel down the hallway. this is a good example of my skills in CADD because I had to design this cart and repair what failed on it when I tested it. I also used CADD in my MNE 101 class in my freshman year. we used CADD to design a working wind turbine. some hobbies I have are fishing and skiing, I also love working on cars.
