My name is Emma, I'm from New Bedford, Massachusetts. I am currently a Junior mechanical engineering student at UMass Dartmouth with a minor in physics.
Starting in my early childhood, I found myself enjoying art and working with my hands. I loved taking apart toys, pens, and puzzles to find new ways to put them back together. This interest developed into a curiosity for the inner workings of the mechanics all around me, leading me to mechanical engineering and design.
I started my college education at Western New England University and began my first hands on projects. After taking some time studying in my labs and classes, I was selected to join a team via a leadership program to teach middle school students about circuits and robotics.
Throughout my life, I've found my passion in art and design. This includes things like embroidery, painting, dancing, and sculpting.
