Adrian Mayorga is currently an undergraduate student at California State University, Los Angeles. He began his path in August 2023, pursuing the field of Civil Engineering.

Background:
Mayorga is a graduate of Alliance Morgan Mckinzie High School. A student who took Honor and AP courses throughout his four years of High School, consisting of Honors English twice, AP English, AP Psychology, and AP Environmental Science. Not only did he take Honors and AP but he also took college courses including Criminal Justice, Sociology, Chicano studies, and Political Science. He then went on to graduate High School with a 3.8 GPA.

Mayorga has always been fascinated by the use of mathematics and creativity. The potential to apply mathematics to design infrastructure such as roads, pipelines, canals, and devices sparked a strong interest in engineering. He even took the initiative to attend an enrichment robotics course in middle school, which reinforced his interest in engineering further.

Mayorga participated in the Step summer program in his early college years, which allows students to start taking math and chemistry courses early. Through lectures on Chemistry, Pre-Cal, and Calculus an exam at the end of the program was given to asses student's chemistry and Math skills to determine what courses he or she should or should not take.

Volunteer Work:
-Volunteered at a Food Bank for community service hours
-Volunteered for a program that discusses sexual safety, I gave feedback on how they can improve the program

Achievements:
Throughout his Academic Endeavors, he was given several Honors, GPA, and Attendance Awards. Currently in University, he was congratulated for his High GPA and was invited to join the Honors Society. However, Adrian Mayorga's grand achievement was successfully reverse engineering a UROV.

Skills/Abilities:
While Mayorga may lack work experience, he did get it at school, where he learned skills such as time management for assignments or projects, planning ahead of time, ability to adapt to situations, collaboration with teammates, and proficiency in programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Solidworks. Being handy with tools and intricate machinery, and being a leader when the situation calls for it.
