Background

The Dell Latitude X300 is a silver notebook computer with a 12.1” screen. It was originally designed as an ultraportable notebook, and because of this, it does not contain a CD drive. The X300 weighs 2.9 lbs and is 0.8 inches thin. It is equipped with the Pentium M 738 processor operating at 400MHz and the Intel 855GM integrated video chipset. A couple of unique features that the Latitude X300 exhibits are the rubber strips on the touchpad buttons and the placement of the battery, which constitutes the backside of the keyboard.

Identification

The GX260 can be easily identified by examining the size of the computer and looking at the text surrounding the power button located on the front of the device.
