Its major features are Bluetooth connectivity to an external device, built-in speaker, colorful lightshow, eight preloaded songs, pitch correction, sound & voice effects, vocal track reducer, games, Tobi expressions, and voice recorder.

It is part of the Tobi 2 family of systems and is specially designed to interface with the Tobi 2 Robot Smartwatch (an upgrade to the original Tobi Smartwatch) which can be used as a remote control through Bluetooth.

One consistent complaint has been its audio quality. The speakers are not very loud, though some parents appreciate this since it's less of a distraction. It's also praised for being cute and charming. However, it has been a reported choking hazard and exposed individuals to dangerous chemicals. Another common complaint is that it is seen as more of a toy and does not serve the purpose of being a karaoke machine.

The Little Tikes Tobi 2 Interactive Karaoke Machine is a small gumdrop-shaped device with a big blue button on the top and several other surrounding buttons. It has a microphone slotted into the back attached via a cord. This microphone has two blue buttons and an On/Off switch button. Its midsection is mostly black, where the screen is, the top is white, and the bottom is a mix of white and grey. The model number 657566C can be found on the back near the bottom of the device. The device's On/Off switch is located next to the battery compartment.
